Alone Not Lonely

Yoon Sun Choi, born in South Korea, raised in Canada and now a New York-based improvising vocalist and pianist using her vocal prowess that transitions effortlessly from resonant, haunting melodies to deep, resonant wails. Yoon has made significant contributions to the music scene over her twenty-year-long career performing and collaborating with esteemed artists including Mark Dresser, Darius Jones, Jacob Sacks, and Kenny Wheeler, on prestigious stages such as The Blue Note, Birdland, and Carnegie Hall.

Julianne Carney-Chung is a member of Adam Rudolph’s Go: Organic Orchestra, and performs western classical art music, out jazz, rock, and myriad other cross-genre settings. Julianne has performed &/or recorded with String Orchestra of Brooklyn, Anthony Braxton, Sufjan Stevens, Eco-Music Big Band, James Ilgenfritz, Luminescent Orchestrii, Jenny Scheinman, My Brightest Diamond aka Shara Nova, Jay-Z, Beyonce, beatboxer Adam Matta, and many others.

Borah Han a Korean-American pianist and a founding teacher of Brooklyn Piano Lab, has performed in Italy, Spain, Korea, and the US at venues such as Carnegie Hall, Kennedy Center, Symphony Space, National Sawdust, Wharton Center, and Skirball Center. As a new music performer, highlights include features in New Amsterdam Records, NY Times, and WNYC New Sounds Live.

Elena Moon Park is a musician and cultural arts producer living in Brooklyn, NY. She likes to collaborate with all kinds of artists & performs music around NYC and the globe, specializing in music for all-ages audiences, contemporary music, and folksy tunes. She is also a co-director of the Brooklyn-based arts organization Found Sound Nation, which uses collaborative music creation to connect people across cultural divides.
